Board Member Profiles

Matthew Lautz, Founder, Director and CEO
Matthew Lautz is an experienced software developer and network manager. He founded Brevient Technologies in 2001. At the time, Lautz was President of his former company, Reflection Media, a Web site design and IT firm, which has since merged into Brevient. Since its conception, Brevient and its product line have grown significantly under Lautz’s direction.

Lautz is the chief development director for all Brevient product lines. He has been featured by prominent media as a representative of young, successful entrepreneurs. Lautz is a member of the Entrepreneur's Organization. Lautz is frequently called upon to address business organizations on motivating young professionals in the work force.




Daniel R. Doucette, Chairman of the Board
Daniel Doucette is also President of Management Insights, a private investment firm. Doucette has a B.S. from Boston College and a J.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Doucette is a former managing partner for the law firm of Kluwin, Dunphy, Hinshaw & Culbertson and an active trial practitioner. Following his career as a lawyer, Doucette served as Executive Vice President, President and CEO of Milwaukee Insurance Group.




Michael Dunham, Director
Michael Dunham is Executive Vice President of Business Development for Industrial and Financial Systems (IFS). IFS is a global ERPII software company headquartered in Sweden with operations in 42 countries.

A veteran in the information technology industry, Dunham previously co-founded Effective Management Systems, Inc, a public software corporation. EMS provides Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), with more than 1,600 customer locations.

Dunham has a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Denver and a Masters of Management Science from Stevens Institute of Technology. Before establishing EMS in 1978, Dunham's career included engineering and scientific design and development for Western Electric Company at Bell Telephone Laboratories, Inc., Science Applications International (SAIC), and A. O. Smith Corporation.




Thomas M. Zoeller, Director
Tom Zoeller is a principal in Insight Development Group, a real estate development firm. He is also involved with several startup and early stage companies. Zoeller was previously the Chief Financial Officer and member of the Office of the Chief Executive of Strong Financial Corporation, investment advisor to the Strong Family of Mutual Funds and broker-dealer. Prior to Strong, he was employed as a senior audit professional at Arthur Andersen and Company.

Zoeller has a B.S. in Accounting from Florida State University and is a certified public accountant.
